On Nov. 2nd, 2022 Jake was seriously injured at work. His injuries include 7 skull fractures, a crushed jaw, and a brain bleed. Since then he has had 1 surgery, and spent 35 days at the hospital for overnight stays and rehabillitation. His vision has not returned to mormal, he has constant headaches and has to use a walker to assist him with walking. His wife Laura has not left his side since the accident and will remain there because of Jake needs constant supervisio/ care. For those reasons Laura has not been able to return to work and doctors say the earliest Jake maybe able to is in a year or so. The road to recovery is going to be a long one. With both of them not being able to work they need all the help they can get. All the money raised by the auction will go to them.
