I wanted to give everyone a little update. ❤️

This morning, I had another episode of low blood pressure. It’s frustrating not knowing exactly what’s causing these episodes, especially when they keep happening.

I don’t go back to my neurologist until September 15th, so I’m praying that the results from my 72-hour testing will give us some answers and, hopefully, a better understanding of what’s going on.

Until then, I’m taking things one day at a time and trusting that God is already working behind the scenes, even when I don’t have all the answers yet. 🙏🏻💗

Thankful for this to be taken off in the morning and MRI on Monday. Really praying that this gives answers.

It’s that time again! 💙 The Spina Bifida Association of North Texas Walk n’ Roll is coming up, and I’d love for you to be part of it!

As someone who was born with Spina Bifida, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. Spina Bifida has shaped so much of my life, but it does not define me. I’ve learned that living with a disability comes with challenges, but it also comes with strength, perseverance, community, and so many opportunities to advocate for others.

This year, I’ve made a 30-day donation calendar to make giving simple! Pick a date on the calendar and donate that dollar amount. For example, choose the 5th and donate $5, or choose the 25th and donate $25. Every donation adds up and helps support individuals and families living with Spina Bifida right here in North Texas. 💙

Whether you’ve followed my journey for years or are just learning about Spina Bifida, thank you for supporting me and this amazing community. Every dollar, every share, and every prayer means more than you know!

Let’s fill up this calendar and Walk n’ Roll together! 🦽💙

QR Code will go directly to my fundraising page.

This song, “Beautifully Imperfect,” reminds me that our worth is never determined by our diagnosis.
Living with Spina Bifida doesn’t make me less capable, less lovable, or less valuable. It simply means my journey looks different. I laugh, dream, love, work, and build a life just like anyone else.
Growing up, I honestly never thought I would find someone who would love me the way I deserved to be loved. Living with a birth defect can bring so much physical pain, but it can also bring emotional pain. There were times I wondered if anyone would ever look past my wheelchair, my scars, and my challenges to truly see me for who I am.
I may use a wheelchair, wear braces, or have scars, but those things don’t define who I am. They are only a small part of my story. What matters most is my heart, my character, and the love I have to give.
I’m especially grateful for my husband, John, who has loved me for the past 17 years. He has never once looked at me and seen my birth defects. He has always seen me—the woman he fell in love with. His love has reminded me every day that I am worthy, valued, and enough just as I am. I truly believe God placed him in my life for a reason. Loving him and being loved by him has shown me that I was always deserving of love—I just needed someone who could see beyond my disability. Every day with him is a reminder that my diagnosis never determined my worth.
Before you judge someone by what you see on the outside, take the time to see the person within. Every person deserves kindness, respect, acceptance, and love.
We are all beautifully imperfect, and that’s exactly what makes us beautiful. ❤️

I can’t believe we’ve reached this season already. Watching this sweet girl grow has been one of life’s greatest blessings. She is pure joy, loves with her whole heart, and isn’t afraid to stand strong in who she is. More than anything, I love that she carries her faith with her wherever she goes, letting the love of Jesus shine through her words and actions.

As she begins this new school year, we’re praying for God’s protection over her, wisdom in every decision, meaningful friendships, and countless memories that will make this year unforgettable. We know God has great plans for her, and we can’t wait to see all He has in store.

Here’s to an amazing year, sweet girl. Keep shining your light. 💙📚

There’s just something exciting about seeing that package show up in the mail! 💚📬

I always look forward to opening it and enjoying another serving of my favorite daily greens. It’s such an easy way to add more vitamins, minerals, and nutrients to my routine—even on the busiest days.

Living with Spina Bifida and other health challenges has taught me that taking care of my body is made up of small, consistent choices. Grüns has become one of those simple habits that helps me feel like I’m investing in my health every single day.

Who else gets excited when their Grüns mail arrives? 🙋‍♀️💚
