There are many contributing factors to the 15-20 year less life expectancy that residents of Pontiac experience compared to surrounding Oakland County neighbors and they all need attention in order for Pontiac to have long term health and success.

At the same time, every resident, community leader, and ally has a role to play in whatever way they can contribute to the mission. What Councilman Chris Jackson spoke to is one of many steps we need to take, together.
