About Me
Hey y’all. Thought I’d introduce myself. I’m Piper, the owner & operator of Piper Mental Health & Wellness and Mother Nature’s Medicine! I’m so excited! I’ve been working as a substance abuse c
ounselor/therapist with a specialization in sexual abuse, PTSD, fitness/exercise with modification for pain management, and nutrition/supplementation for about 14 years now. I have a dual Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling & Clinical Psychology with the specializations as stated above. I am a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and have tested for my License in Professional Counseling but CoVID had other plans for me to halt licensure and continue on my health and wellness coaching and consulting path. I’m also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Because of all of my studies and personal dedication toward health and wellness, I decided to start my PhD in Mind/Body Medicine with a Specialization in Integrative Mental Health. It brings together my love of alternative and complementary medicine that includes nature in many ways. I’ve loved rocks, stones, and crystals since I was very young but life happened and I lost my love. Over the last few years I’ve fell back in love with them and it has only escalated. I may need an intervention. I question the science behind everything but if something works for someone then it’s great. I go into crystals and nature with intuition and the gut because I believe they hold the key to what we need. Ultimately, it has never steered me wrong with choosing crystals. I may initially be drawn to something because it’s pretty but I give it time (usually if shopping in a store) and I’ll know what I really need. Only later do I look up the properties and sure enough they fit. That is how I work with my clients. To create an environment that promotes a positive, healthy life for whatever it is you need. This business is my dream of providing those items that speak to your heart and hopefully your soul. Let me say that I am also a known “professional student” as I’m always growing and learning each day. I study Ayurvedic Medicine and believe in supplements that support a healthy lifestyle. The goal for Mother Nature’s Medicine is to provide quality crystals, stones, and more to aid you in living your best life. I understand that the metaphysical has a place but ultimately your gut and intuition will guide you. Think about it, if you don’t like the aesthetics of a crystal or stone do you think you’ll connect to whatever it is that it shall provide you?! Probably not. Most of me believes that just as colors and patterns make us feel a certain way, so too do crystals but we have to get past the aesthetics and listen to our gut. We also go through seasons. Sometimes you may be drawn to something that you weren’t before. Sometimes you want something so bad but you can’t seem to get it or find it and perhaps that’s the world (in some ways) telling you that it’s not your time to have that thing. Perhaps you have to do work or simply wait for that time. I also believe in leading with love above all. To find peace within we much accept today, live in the moment, and if you’re unhappy... know that even through the worst of times you may be right where you need to be. Perhaps your struggle is not for you but for the person you meet after you’ve made it through. Maybe you’ll save and exponentially change their life with your story. One thing I know is that the world is in constant flux. The struggle is in learning how to move with that change. Doing so builds resilience and accepting that things are not always what they seem on the surface is liberating, freeing, yet scary in and of itself. Embrace it.

I love all things color! I love to be silly but can be very deep. I love hiking, trees, & mountains!! I am from & live in Texas. I’m a Taurus, Cancer, Gemini. Star chart loving babies will know what I mean. I enjoy learning about it but not so obsessed FYI. It surely makes sense. I am a continue student of Ayurvedic Medicine and natural supplements etc. I had five herniated discs (3mm - 28mm) in 2013 and over the years with learning movement, posture, limitations, supplements, and my body... I now have three (3mm - 7mm) so I’m a believer in natural healing. I enjoy makeup and exercise. Have a YouTube Channel that didn’t take off mostly because I’m everywhere probably. Who knows. I think I’m funny but do you?! ��
I legit care about people but also can’t stand them sometimes. I have PTSD but most days you wouldn’t know. I’m very open about my struggles and find it funny I specialize in the area but now have personal experience with it. I’m an empath that has strong boundaries. I love educating. Knowledge is power because what you do with that knowledge can change your perception of the world. The biggest lesson I learned was that even with Masters degrees, licenses or whatever else... it’s impossible to know everything or every experience. For that, I welcome each story and learn from every person and every situation. If I do not understand someone’s beliefs, I ask to understand. If then, I still disagree then I disagree. I can love them for being human and choose not associate with them or I can choose to accept them for their differences. To me, perception is everything... “The mind in itself is its own place.
