Supporting Farmworker Families Impacted by Accident on I-5❗️

Harvest season is in full swing in Oregon, with thousands of farmworkers commuting home in work vans after working in increasingly warm weather. As workers were heading home to their families Thursday night, a truck traveling northbound on I-5 veered off the road and struck a passenger van carrying 11 farmworkers, killing 7 of them.

The PCUN Foundation is raising money to support the families of these farmworkers, with all proceeds going directly to the 11 farmworkers and their families. We're hoping to raise at least $60,000 to support them by June 3rd. The total amount will get divided evenly amongst the families.

The Ford Family Foundation's scholarship application is OPEN for the 2023-24 school year!

We established scholarship programs to assist learners from all walks of life — high school seniors, transfer students, adults and — who otherwise would find it impossible, or at least very difficult, to obtain a college degree.

At any given time, The Ford Family Foundation is supporting approximately 1,000 students in Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif. with a generous financial award, academic guidance, leadership development, personal and professional support, and access to the Ford Family alumni network.
