I know it has been some time since I posted. A lot has happened this past fall of 2023. My wonderful husband passed away in August.
One of the things that I have learned through this is that we must learn to grieve well. Grief is strange and not best understood. Often, we suppress any of the anger and angst we might have toward the death of a loved one. I have come to know that anger is okay. Sadness is expected, learning to live without the person you have partnered with in life is very, very difficult. Unwinding the ties that you built financially together has been most difficult.
Not only did Michael pass away, I fractured my shoulder on my birthday in November, one of my sons was in the ER in December for severe dehydrationdue toba stomach virus, and another was admitted before Christmas to a su***de prevention program.
To say the least 2023 was the hardest year of our lives. I am just begining to pick up the pieces. I have gotten back in the recording studio to narrate, I have been driving Lyft for daily income, and hope to get back to doing videos before too much longer.
I know one thing is true beyond all others, God loves us. We would not have made it through emotionally or financially without funds sent through means I am still unaware of. Family and friends, strangers and ministries have all helped.
Be Blessed.
