Supplement of the Month: O.N.E.™ Multivitamin 🌿

This month, I’m highlighting O.N.E.™ Multivitamin from Pure Encapsulations—a convenient, once-daily option to help fill nutritional gaps.

Two features make it a favorite of mine:
• Methylated B vitamins, including folate as L-5-MTHF and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin.
• 2,000 IU of vitamin D3 in each capsule.

The formula also includes CoQ10 and antioxidants such as lutein and zeaxanthin, all in one capsule taken daily with a meal.

I believe supplements should complement nourishing food and be chosen with your individual needs in mind.

Curious whether O.N.E.™ Multivitamin would fit your routine? Send me a message or schedule a consultation with me using the link in my bio. 🌿

Yesterday, I shared why prevention is powerful and how heart health goes beyond cholesterol numbers. Today, I wanted to share some foods to keep in your regular rotation to put prevention into practice. 🌿

• Beans and lentils: Add them to soups, salads, or grain bowls for fiber and plant protein.
• Oats and barley: Simple, satisfying sources of soluble fiber.
• Colorful vegetables and fruit: Enjoy a variety throughout the week—frozen options count, too!
• Nuts and seeds: Try walnuts, almonds, chia seeds, or ground flaxseed.
• Olive oil and avocado: Everyday sources of unsaturated fats.
• Fish such as salmon and sardines: Options that provide omega-3 fats.

You don’t need to overhaul your diet overnight. Start with something manageable: add beans to dinner, stir walnuts into oatmeal, or include another vegetable with lunch.

This is how lifestyle medicine works. We turn evidence into practical, everyday habits that support long-term health. No single food guarantees prevention, but the patterns we build over time matter.

Prevention is powerful. ❤️

You don’t have to wait for a diagnosis to start caring for your heart.

In my newest blog, “Prevention Is Powerful: Heart Health Beyond Cholesterol,” I explore what a proactive approach can look like—from understanding your risk factors to building everyday habits that support your long-term health.

As a nurse practitioner, I want to help you understand your health today so we can make thoughtful decisions about your future. That starts with a conversation about the whole picture.

Holistic Pelvic Care™ might be the care you didn’t know you needed. 💚

It’s easy to overlook your pelvic floor, even when you’re feeling tension, discomfort, or disconnected from your body.

At the Flourish Center, I offer a gentle, whole-person approach through breathwork, visualization, and internal pelvic massage. I tailor each session to you, with your comfort and consent guiding our work together.

Whether you’re navigating postpartum changes, pelvic discomfort, or simply want to reconnect with your body, I’m here to offer space to slow down and receive support.

Heart health is about more than cholesterol numbers. ❤️

Cholesterol matters—but it’s one part of a bigger picture.

Blood pressure, blood sugar, sleep, movement, nutrition, and to***co use all influence cardiovascular health. Chronic stress and inflammation also deserve attention when we talk about caring for your heart.

As a nurse practitioner, I want our heart-health conversations to go beyond a lab report.

How are you sleeping? What does stress look like in your daily life? What’s your family history? Which habits feel manageable, and where do you need more support?

Prevention can begin long before heart disease develops. That means understanding your individual risk and building a plan that includes realistic lifestyle changes, appropriate screening, and medication when needed.

You don’t have to change everything at once. A daily walk, more fiber-rich foods, a consistent bedtime, or support with managing stress can be meaningful places to start.

Want a more comprehensive conversation about your heart health? Schedule a visit with me through the link in my bio.

Stress is not just emotional—it’s physiologic.

A tense jaw. Tight shoulders. An unsettled stomach. Feeling exhausted, but unable to settle down at night.

Stress can show up throughout the body, and understanding that connection can help us approach ourselves with more compassion and curiosity.

In my newest blog, “Stress Is Not Just Emotional — It’s Physiologic,” I explain what happens during the stress response, how ongoing stress can affect your health, and practical ways to support recovery.

You don’t have to turn stress management into another task to perfect. Start with one manageable step—and ask for support when you need it.

As the days get shorter and the weather cools, I like to use fall as a reminder to check in with the daily habits that help us feel our best. 🍂

Here are a few of my favorite simple fall health tips:

🍲 Make meals nourishing and easy.
Soups, roasted vegetables, beans, and hearty whole grains are great staples for cooler days. Prepare a little extra so you have something ready when life gets busy.

🌤 Get outside during daylight.
Take a morning walk, enjoy your lunch outdoors, or spend a few minutes noticing the changing leaves.

🚶 Keep movement realistic.
A short walk, gentle stretching, or dancing in your kitchen can help you keep moving as the weather changes. Choose something you enjoy.

🌙 Make room for rest.
Keep a consistent bedtime and give yourself a little time to unwind in the evening.

🤎 Stay connected.
Share a meal, call a friend, or make time for someone who helps you feel supported.

You don’t need to overhaul your routine this fall. Choose one small habit that feels doable and start there.

What’s one way you’re taking care of yourself this season?

What is Lifestyle Medicine? 🌿

If you’ve ever been told to “make lifestyle changes” and thought, “Okay, but where do I start?”—you’re not alone.

Lifestyle Medicine uses evidence-based daily habits to support your health and help prevent and manage chronic, lifestyle-related conditions. In my work, I help you turn that science into practical steps that fit your life.

It focuses on six interconnected pillars:

• Optimal nutrition
• Physical activity
• Stress management
• Restorative sleep
• Meaningful connection
• Avoiding risky substances

You don’t have to change everything at once. Preparing a nourishing meal, taking a walk, or making time to wind down before bed can be a place to begin. The goal is to build habits you can sustain—with support and room for real life.

That’s why I created two online programs:

Flourish Foundations is an 8-week, self-paced introduction with small weekly steps to help you get started.

Flourish Forward is a 3-month guided program with education, practical tools, accountability, and weekly live support sessions, plus lifetime access to the educational materials.

Both programs are open to everyone, wherever you live. You don’t need to be a patient at The Flourish Center to join.
