17.5 hours later and we are home. Crews are still there, but Clermont EMS is safe and home.
Huge shout out to Liz, EMS, who never left my side. Thank you.
Nineteen fire crews. Firefighters...to many to count, Law enforcement. Emergency Management, Utility crews. Dispatchers, Postville EMS...it takes a village.
A HUGE Thank You to Caseys Postville who donated supplies we needed. Food, drinks, personal supplies, pain relievers, snacks, ice. You continuously came through all day long. THANK YOU!
Thank you to Mabe’s Pizza in Decorah for donated pizzas to all the crews. THANK YOU!
Thank You Sarah and Tiffany for the use of your canopy and chairs.
Thank you to each and every fire fighter for your continued dedication. Be proud of your work. You all did amazing today.
Thank you to your families for the support you bring to your fire fighter. We know the worry you go through as they answer that call and rush out that door. Know that we got them! We will do everything in our power to keep them safe and to ensure they return safely home to you.
Please pray for Postville
