Once again I am seeking volunteers!
If you are curious about Aromatherapy, particularly as it relates to memory and the emotions, this is an opportunity to volunteer for a session that will include one or more guided meditations and working with essential oils which you will sample from a collection and choose based on your preferences.

I will be utilizing some of the practices learned through Jonathan Benavides’ Practical Aromapsychology class. I completed this class in 2025… unfortunately, Jonathan passed away during the time period of the class and it was a very difficult time for all of the students. The staff at Tisserand Institute were kind enough to offer the class again so that we could regroup and review what we had previously learned, as well as some additional material.

I am someone who learns best by putting my learning into practice, which means that you will have the benefit of a free aromatherapy session if you volunteer, with the only request that you provide honest feedback about how the experience impacted you.

The totally time commitment is about one hour.

I am seeking three total volunteers for sessions to be scheduled in July or August. One of these volunteers may also be selected for a more in-depth case study following the initial session, if you are interested in a deeper dive. Any products or custom blends created will be yours to keep.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Once in a Blue Moon Sound Journey with aromatherapy today!

Everyone who attends the sound healing event this Sunday, Once in a Blue Moon, will receive an aromatherapy inhaler to use at the event and take home, as well as a self-heating eye mask to pamper the eyes.

The event will take place at 4:30 pm at the Healing Arts Center. Enjoy some gentle movement to release tension in the body, intentional breathing, aromatherapy, a guided meditation, and a sound journey featuring musician Dr. Caron Collins and myself.
