Handmade Soaps and Bath products, made without all of those unnecessary ingredients (DETERGENTS) that most store bought soaps have in them. Sign up for my email list by emailing me at [email protected], to be the first to know about new soaps, limited time specials, and sales! MY SOAPS AND THE BENEFITS OF EACH:
-Back in Black $8 (4oz bar)- olive oil soap that also contains tea tree oil a
nd bamboo activated charcoal. The rumor I hear from my repeat buyers is that it can clear a breakout with a quickness
-Detox $8 (4oz bar)-goats milk soap containing Bentonite Clay which has been said to detoxify and tighten skin
-Ugly Shaver $8 (4oz bar)- Olive oil soap containing a little extra sorbitol to better hold in moisture, as well as a touch of bentonite clay which adds to the "slip" and also slightly exfoliating the area you rub it on to better prepare the area for shaving. I am HOOKED!
-Burned $8 (4oz bar)- this is an olive oil based soap that contains loads of aloe vera gel to soothe sunburned or irritated skin. I have recently developed an allergy to mosquito bites and over the past year anytime I get bit by one, I end up with hives all over my arms, chest, and lately my back as well. This soap soothes the itchiness of the hives AND the bite. (CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
-SISSY SKIN $8 (4oz bar)-typically unscented and uncolored (unless specific request is sent to me via FB message or email) made as a goats' milk bar that includes oatmeal that I grind in my magic bullet to get a more powder-like consistency because the full size oats end up being pretty scratchy on ANYONE'S skin. INGREDIENT LISTS:
Olive Oil soaps- Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Safflower Oil, Palm Oil, Glycerin (of vegetable origin), Distilled Water, Lye, Sorbitol, Sorbitan Oleate, Oat Protein
Goat's Milk Soaps- Olive Oil, Coconut oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (of vegetable origin), Goat's Milk, Distilled Water, Lye, Sorbitol, Sorbitan Oleate, Oat Protein
Shea Butter Soaps- Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (of vegetable origin), Shea Butter (refined), Distilled Water, Lye, Sorbitol, Sorbitan Oleate, Oat Protein
Solid Lotion push-up bars $10 (not bras LOL)- sweet almond oil, all natural beeswax, and is about 35% of your choice of unscented cocoa or shea butter. These can be made and ready to go within a few hours, so they are available in any scent that is not noted as being unavailable. This push-up bar is approximately 2 oz which may sound small, but it lasts a LONG time! I am still using the very first one I made over 6 months ago and it isn't even close to being gone. You can also order a 3-pack of sample size solid lotion bars (total weight is approximately 1 oz) for $6. Each sample bar is created to last up to 3 weeks, depending on how often and how much of it you use. You can order a sample pack of any of my soap bars for $5, which includes a pack of 3 small soaps, each of which may be used approximately 7-8 times as a hand soap. (The only bar I cannot currently offer samples of is the Ugly Shaver bar because I am very low on some of the ingredients. The next person to order one of these at $7 will get to decide the fragrance of the entire batch (anywhere from 4-6 bars total) and once those are gone, I can't guarantee when I will have them back in stock bc I am having trouble tracking down one of my ingredients that my main supplier no longer offers. Below are some of the ingredients you may not recognize, and explanations as to why they are used:
-Sorbitol is used as an added moisturizer
-Sorbitan oleate is used as an emulsifier (to mix the oils with the water)
-Oat Protein is used as a conditioner
-Titanium Dioxide is used as a natural whitener
Some of the exfoliants, natural colorants, and other extras you may find in my soaps:
-Dried lavender buds (just because they're pretty, but please note that they DO turn brown and ugly after getting wet and drying back out)
-Dried orange peel is used as a natural exfoliant
-Bentonite Clay powder, which is found in my Detox face and body bar, is derived from volcanic ash, and is known for it's detoxifying properties. It helps to draw the impurities out of your skin
-Bamboo activated charcoal powder is found in my Back in Black soap, and has the same detoxifying properties as the Bentonite Clay powder. I also include a bit of vitamin E and just enough tea tree essential oil to give the soap a nice dose of the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that tea tree EO is known to provide. Charcoal soaps are quickly becoming one of the most popular soaps on the market right now, especially with my clients who are prone to breakouts because I have had a few of my customers tell me that my Back in Black bar cleared up their or their daughter's acne like a CHAMP!
-Himalayan pink salt is also known to be very detoxifying, and you can request for it to be added to any soap, scrub, or jar of bath salts. I typically only use this if it is requested because it is very large-grained and scratchy)
-Natural sea sponges are used in my Vanilla Sea Sponge soap, just because I thought it was cool to have a sponge inside my soap.
-My bath salts contain about 75% Dead Sea Mineral salts, which are known for their detoxifying properties, and about 25% Epsom salt, which word on the street says will relax and relieve muscle tension when mixed into a hot bath. I can scent it with any of the scents on my list that you prefer. I use a variety of natural and artificial colorants, including (but not limited to):
-mica powders, which are found in mineral makeup and eyeshadows
-liquid soap pigments by myosoaps
Essential Oils:
-Sweet Orange
-Ginger
-Lavender (Not currently available)
-Tea Tree
-Chamomile
-Peppermint
Fragrance Oils:
-Rain (very fresh, clean scent)
-Stress relief blend (Has a sweet, somewhat grassy scent that is great!)
-Apple pie spice (Seasonal, available from Sept through Christmas)
-Pumpkin pie spice (Seasonal, available from Sept through Thanksgiving)
-Fresh Snow (bright, fresh, and clean scent that was intended to be a winter seasonal but I accidentally ordered a much larger jar than intended so it is pretty much always available. Reminds me of a very pleasant laundry detergent.
-Sandalwood (hands down my favorite scent I have ever used)
-Cashmere glow type (copycat of Victoria's Secret's famous lotion and body mist scent)
-Ancient Sedona (very strong men's fragrance)
-Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey
-Warm Vanilla Sugar type (copycat from Bath & Body Works)
-Fruit Loops (smells EXACTLY like the cereal but according to my 8 year old, doesn't taste nearly as good)
-Monkey Farts (tropical banana-y fragrance that kids love! Mostly just bc of the silly name I think)
-Love Spell type (another Victoria's Secret copycat)
-Peach Mango (sweet, bright, and tropical and is a customer favorite, along with...
-Hibiscus Mango (a little sweeter but still bright and tropical scent that is another customer favorite)
-Energy (citrus-y type scent that is very bright and uplifting)
-Vanilla
-Cool Musk (great for men or women)
-Juicy Couture type (another copycat that I have a very limited supply of and my supplier no longer carries it, so first come, first serve on that. I will try to remember to remove it from the list when it is gone)
-Sunsweet Kiwi
-Fresh Bamboo (very clean scent; exactly how I imagined it would smell based on the name)
-Herbal Essences (smells exactly like the shampoo and conditioner put out by HE in the 80s! You remember the commercials where the lady is having an orgasm as she washes her hair in the shower? Totally inappropriate for that time but I bet everyone who ever used it can smell it now that you are thinking about that dumb commercial. I loved that scent so much that even though I was totally allergic to the old formula, I would seriously walk around for weeks with hives on my scalp because to me that scent was worth it!)
