Do you suffer from Seborrheic Dermatitis?

Seborrheic Dermatitis is a common skin condition that mainly affects your scalp. It causes scaly patches, inflamed skin and stubborn dandruff. It usually affects oily areas of the body, such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

A few months ago, I noticed I had a really dry spot in the front of my hairline. The patch got bigger, more flaky, and before long my hair was falling out around that spot. Thinking it was dandruff, I was washing my hair several times a week. I tried all different shampoos, containers, oils, steam treatments, EVERYTHING. So after much research I developed an oil that has worked wonders for me. It mainly includes various oils, but the star in this oil is Nettle (Stinging Nettle).

Nettle is a nourishing herb, rich in calcium, magnesium, protein, and other nutrients. Nettles have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic properties, making them useful for allergies, asthma, and eruptive skin diseases.

After months of using this hair oil, my hair has been restored. In fact there hasn't been a time that I have not used it. Now I want to share this product with you. You can find the handcrafted hair oil on my Etsy page listed below.

Decompression Tea

Did you have a terrible day? We have all been there but it's nothing that a hot cup of herbal tea can’t handle.

2 tablespoons Ashwagandha
2 tablespoons Passionflower
¼ cup Lemon Balm
¼ cup Catnip
2 tablespoons Peppermint
Honey (Optional)
Lemon (Optional)

1. In a large bowl, combine the all the Ashwagandha, Passionflower, Lemon Balm, Catnip, and Peppermint.
2. Transfer the tea blend into an airtight container. Label and date the blend. Store in cool, dark, dry place. Blend will keep for a year.
3. Add 1 ½ teaspoon into a disposable tea bag or infuser and place inside a 10 oz mug.
4. Cover with boiling water and steep for 7-10 minutes. Once time is up, remove the tea bag or infuser.
5. Sweeten with honey and lemon (if suing) and drink slowly.

*While drinking the tea, stay in the moment. Try to relax and forget what happened for this moment. Everything else can wait for now. Take this time for yourself. Completely disconnect, for the moment.

Sometimes used in massage oils, Vetiver may relieve pain from arthritis, muscular aches, and rheumatism as it increases blood flow to the affected area.
Vetiver is noted assist with focus and mental clarity when utilized as a study aid.

Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum)
