We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Production Supervisor. This position supervises and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture parts or products. Ensures the flow of product, people, materials, and information is planned, known, and followed. Ensures that Safety, Quality, Cost, and Time are efficiently managed throughout the area of responsibility. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn competitive pay and full-time benefits.
Responsibilities:
-Provides strong Leadership
-Manages and measures the output of personnel to meet production schedules
-Practices strong planning skills, setting of goals and measuring & evaluating results
-Teaches and develops employees to create a skilled and flexible workforce
-Ensures smooth flow of materials, information and labor are available to meet production needs
-Communicates with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
-Understands bottlenecks that limit production and takes necessary corrective action, thru analytical problem solving
-Ensures proper visual controls are being used and updated to improve flow
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment
-MS office proficiency
-Manufacturing software knowledge a plus
-Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
-Bilingual a plus
