Lets talk tea bags, and the difference between ours and other brands and why we choose to use them.
Did you know:
Most tea brands that utilize tea bags use mostly leaf "dust" or tiny particles of herb/flowers that holds little to no holistic benefit.

This is why generic brand tea often does little for the body besides provide a possible tasty beverage.

Tea Trees co. tea blends use large leaf/flower parts (similar to your favorite loose leaf tea brand) to fill our bags. This is to keep as much of the holistic benefit of the herb and flower as possible.

Other brands use plastic, bleached paper and other materials in their tea bags. This carries over into the overall taste of your tea as well as possible harmful side effects from unknown chemicals that you are drinking. Other than the harm it may cause the user, the bags also mostly non biodegradable and contribute to landfill mass.

Tea Trees co. chooses to use non bleached and compostable paper bags only. This way the flavor of the tea is uncompromised as well as creating a compostable additive for home gardens and such.
Many people has asked why we chose to take Tea Trees co. down the tea bag route instead of loose leaf which has become so popular. The answer is actually very simple. While most herbal tea brands that sell loose leaf tea may have delicious and flavor filled blends, they don't have any ingredients that must be properly dosed. Tea Trees co. is a bit different. Since one of the herbal ingredients is h**p flower the proper dosage is very important. So we measure the amount of h**p flower that goes into each individual bag to ensure each cup of tea has the same amount of CBD as the last.

While some companies that advertise CBD loose leaf tea may claim that the tea maintains its proper dosage throughout the bag... it is nearly impossible for this to happen. The h**p flower is generally heavier than the rest of the herb/flower in the blend and will eventually settle at the bottom. Although you can shake the bag there is still no guarantee of what the CBD dosage is from cup to cup.

However if you would like more control on how much CBD you would like in each cup on a day to day basis we will soon be offering small batch loose leaf options.
