What does apraxia actually FEEL like?

At I-ASC, we believe the people living the experience are the true experts. In this blog, William, a nonspeaking & autistic speller with apraxia, shares what the “brain-body disconnect” feels like from the inside.

“Having Apraxia feels like a weakening in my neural paths, as if they don’t have the strength to deliver the weighted instructions given by my mind to my body parts.” - William T.

From speech production to motor planning to ocular motor control, this blog is a great reminder that there is still so much to learn, and we must stay open to that learning.

Read the blog: i-asc.org/six-things-you-should-know-about-apraxia

If you work with, love, teach, or support someone with apraxia, this is a must-read.
