Boundaries get called “difficult.”
Confidence gets called “too much.”
Directness gets called “attitude.”
Ambition gets called “intimidating.”
Leadership gets called “bossy.”
Emotion gets called “unstable.”
Self-focus gets called “selfish.”

Double standards aren’t always loud sometimes they look like silence, doubt, or lowered expectations. International Women’s Day is about rejecting those labels.

Glitz and Cosmix turns 4 today!

What started as a small, but big idea has grown into something that exists in the real world. Something I built with my own hands, my own vision, and a deep belief in creating experiences that help women feel good in their skin.

These past four years have stretched me in ways I never expected. They’ve also strengthened me and what it truly means to commit to something bigger than myself.

I’m grateful for every customer, every conversation, every moment that reminded me why I started.

Glitz and Cosmix is still here. Still evolving. Still becoming.

And I’m proud of that.

Some days life be doing a lot, and I don’t always have the answers. But I’ve learned this: when everything feels shaky, it’s the little things that hold you together.

A hot shower when your mind is racing.
A sugar scrub that smells like comfort.
A mist before you walk out the door so you can feel like you again.

That’s not “pampering,” that’s you surviving your own life. That’s your nervous system saying,
“I just need something gentle right now.”

Rituals are how we stay grounded.
Five minutes of touch.
A scent that reminds you you’re still here.
A tiny luxury that doesn’t break your pockets but gets you through the day.

If you’re in a hard season, don’t pressure yourself to be strong 24/7. Give yourself something small, something grounding to look forward to.

Who I am.
What I stand for.
What I pray my Cosmix babes feel when they use my products.
And where we’re headed next.

Three minutes will never be enough to express everything I feel for my own journey to confidence, for a brand I’m scaling from pure faith and grit, and for every customer who has supported me over these past three years. My heart is full of gratitude for the courage it took to start… and for the women who remind me every day why I keep going.
