Dylan’s Heart, God’s Hands. Follow Dylan's journey as he bravely fights congenital heart disease

Another day of physical therapy down for sweet Dylan’s Heart, God’s Hands. 🫀👐🏻 !

He works so hard and you can see the progress!! 💪🏻 He still has some ways to go with tummy time so he doesn't skip the crawling stage, but he will get there!! This also makes me dread him having to get the gtube 😭

OH! We also FINALLY got the ok to put him back on Similac total comfort IF of course he does tolerate it like he used to. 🍼

He is waiting for his referral to be put in for his helmet and then that journey will begin also! ⛑️

Please continue to pray for Dylan and our family.

🛐🤲🏻

Dear Lord. Please continue to watch over Dylan as he comes up on his 1st birthday in just a few more days. He is getting bigger and we need things to go the right way so we can help his heart keep up with him and not continue to overwork.

Please let us make the right decision for his gtube and his surgery will go smoothly and his wounds heal quickly and correctly.

Lord, guide each person who cares for Dylan. Continue to help Andrew and I care, advocate and protect Dylan and our other boys in the best ways possible.

I pray for Andrew to heal and his surgery to finally be successful. I pray over our marriage and that we continue to love each other the way a husband and wife should and for us both to continue trying to live right by you.

Thank you for our life and blessing me with my sweet family. Thank you for always being by us even when we think you're not. Thank you for sacrificing your life for us when we are so undeserving.

We love and need you always! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

💙 Dylan’s Cardiology Update 💙

Today we had Dylan’s cardiology appointment, and honestly, there wasn’t a whole lot of new information to share.

His G-tube surgery is still scheduled for September 2nd, so that plan hasn’t changed. We also talked about possibly moving his cath and MRI up sooner, which would give his team more information about what’s going on and help them make the best decisions moving forward.

And, of course, one of the biggest conversations was what the surgical plan is for Dylan and what the next step will look like for his little heart. We’re still waiting on some of those answers and for his doctors to determine the best path forward.

So for now, we’re taking it one appointment, one test, and one day at a time. 💙

We may not have a big update today, but we’re thankful we’re still moving forward and continuing to fight for the best possible plan for our little heart warrior.

🙏 Please keep Dylan in your prayers as we head toward his G-tube surgery and the testing that will help determine what comes next.

To our amazing supporters,

After a lot of prayer and many tears, I've made the difficult decision to step away from posting updates in this group for a little while. I just posted a monthly update so I didn't't just leave you guys out of the loop 🩵

Unfortunately, some people have chosen to pass along our business to individuals we've intentionally blocked. During one of the hardest seasons of our lives, instead of finding encouragement, we've experienced hurtful words, mocking, and unnecessary negativity. People have used really hurtful language in attempts to hurt our family, and it’s been painful to be talked about and misunderstood simply for looking for support and it's not even by strangers.

Facebook has been my way of documenting Dylan’s journey, and it’s truly hurtful to be mocked or criticized for sharing our story and asking for prayer. Right now, I need to protect my heart, my peace, and most importantly, my focus on Dylan and our family.

Please know that every update I've shared has never been about seeking attention. I've shared because so many of you have walked this journey with us, prayed for Dylan, celebrated his victories, cried through the setbacks, and asked how you could help carry our family's burdens. Scripture reminds us to "carry each other's burdens" (Galatians 6:2), and that's all we've ever allowed others to do when they felt led.

If you would like to continue following Dylan's journey, praying for our family, and staying updated, I will still be sharing but more privately through Facebook subscriptions if you want to continue to walk alongside us and support us in this season.

I believe God sees every tear, every prayer, and every unseen battle. While people's words may hurt, they will never be louder than His promises. I'm trusting Him to bring peace, wisdom, and clarity as we navigate this season.

Thank you to those who have loved us, prayed for us, encouraged us, and reminded us that we are not walking this road alone. We appreciate you more than words can express, and we hope to return here soon. .

Please don't message asking who or what was said because I'd rather just keep that information to myself.

Please continue praying for Dylan. God is still writing his story, and we are holding tightly to His promises every step of the way. 🩵

We love you all! God bless 🙏🏻

💙 August brings another month of appointments for our sweet Dylan.

Thank you God 🙏🏻

Each visit is an important step in his journey, and we're praying for continued healing, steady growth, wisdom for his care team, and the best path forward for our little heart warrior.

Thank you for continuing to follow Dylan's story, celebrate every victory with us, and keep him covered in prayer. Your love, encouragement, and support mean more than words can ever express.

We'll share updates after each appointment. As always, thank you for being part of Dylan's village.

Dylan Strong. 💙🙏

As we head into this upcoming week, we're asking for a little extra support as our family settles into a new rhythm.

Andrew is still healing from surgery, but if you know him, you know it's hard for him to sit still. Even while he's recovering, he's doing everything he can to help care for our family. We're both adjusting as we navigate his recovery while caring for Dylan and making sure our other boys have everything they need.

One of the biggest ways you could bless our family right now would be by helping with a meal or an Uber gift card. Having meals taken care of for a few days would simply take one responsibility off our plates, allowing Andrew to focus on healing and giving us more time together as a family.

Dylan needs close supervision throughout the day. Even something as routine as stepping away to prepare a meal can sometimes be enough time for him to pull out his NG tube, adding another task that needs immediate attention. Having meals provided would help keep our focus where it's needed most while making this season just a little lighter.

If God places it on your heart to help, we'd be incredibly grateful.

If you're not able to give, we completely understand. Your prayers, encouragement, and sharing this post are just as meaningful to us.

We continue to trust that God will provide exactly what our family needs, just as He always has. Time and again, He has shown His faithfulness through the kindness of others, and we are deeply thankful for every person who has walked alongside us.

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7

Thank you for loving our family, praying for us, and helping carry a small part of this season with us. Every act of kindness is a reminder of God's love, and we are truly grateful for each one. God bless you all. 🤍

We wanted to take a moment to update everyone. This journey has been one of the hardest things our family has ever walked through, but we are continuing to take it one day at a time, leaning fully on God for strength.
