🇺🇸 We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July today!

We kicked things off with a budgeting activity, using newspaper coupons to plan a festive holiday meal while practicing money management and decision-making skills. Then we wrapped up the celebration by creating delicious red, white, and blue yogurt parfaits!

Yesterday we took a trip to the NC State Farmers Market!

We kicked it off with a scavenger hunt, which turned our outing into a fun cognitive challenge. After that, we wrapped it up by making strawberry shortcakes with some fresh local strawberries.

This is what functional therapy looks like: engaging all of our senses, building cognitive and motor skills, encouraging independence, and having fun while doing it!

Yesterday was such a special day… our very first Charlotte Coffee Club! ☕️

It was wonderful connecting with our community in a new city. We feel SO lucky to be able to expand and reach new regions.

If you’re in the Charlotte area and missed this month’s Coffee Club, no worries! We’ll be hosting them monthly from now on. We can’t wait to see you next time!
