District Attorney Penny Douciere is pleased to announce the hiring of another Assistant District Attorney, Matthew Hollis.

Matthew is the son of Pat and Joan Hollis of Baskin. He is married to the former Morgan Hendrix, and together they have two daughters, Rosemary and Allie Beth.

Matthew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2009 and received his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in 2013.

Since 2013, Matthew has operated his law practice, Matthew Hollis, Attorney at Law APLC, and Big Creek Title LLC in Winnsboro. He has also served as the Franklin Parish Justice of the Peace Constable for nearly 12 years.

Matthew was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney on Monday, June 15th by Judge Stephen G. Dean.

We are pleased to welcome Matthew to the team.

Summer Reading Program. Starts today in Richland Parish 📚 Richland Parish Library

May 30th from 11am - 2pm
Summer Reading is almost here, and we're holding our Kickoff Festival this Saturday to get the reading challenge started! We'll have a Petting Farm from Glory Land Farms, free snocones from Flippin' Flavors, the firetruck from Rayville Fire Dept, and many community businesses and organizations hosting booths!
Please park in the First Baptist Church Rayville Parking lot as our parking lot will be filled with booths and activities!
