Healthy development relies on connection, attunement, and trusted caregivers. Our society, however, often falls short in meeting these fundamental needs, even for the most dedicated parents. This isn't about blaming anyone, but recognizing we're all influenced by societal structures.

Ever felt that inner voice saying "Nobody tells me what to do"? This defiant streak, often born in childhood, served a purpose. It was about reclaiming power in rigid environments or when rules were scarce. While it helped you feel in control then, as an adult, this automatic "no" might be holding you back from valuable experiences.

Healing doesn’t happen through force.
It happens through relationship—through attunement, timing, and trust.

Horses don’t respond to who you say you are.
They respond to your nervous system.

This is where we begin to see what’s really underneath the anxiety, the patterns, the disconnection…
and start creating something different.

If you’re ready to understand your nervous system and how your past is shaping your present, I’m hosting a trauma + attachment workshop.

“Never good enough” isn’t a personality flaw.
It’s what happens when you grow up feeling like you had to earn your place.

So now you: • feel like a burden
• overthink everything you say
• try to be “better” so you don’t get rejected
• still feel like you don’t quite fit anywhere

That voice didn’t come from nowhere.
It came from an environment where being yourself didn’t feel like enough.

You’re not too much.
And you were never not enough—you just adapted.

Which one hit you the most?

The “I don’t need anyone” identity usually wasn’t a choice.
It was built in environments where your needs weren’t consistently met.
It protects you.
But it can also keep you alone.
If this one hit, you’re not broken—you adapted.

Ever feel like you live in your head but feel disconnected from your body?
That’s not random—it’s something many people learned early on to stay safe.
But you don’t have to stay there.
Try this: pause for a moment and notice one sensation in your body.
I’m curious—do you tend to live more in your head or your body? Tell me below 👇

There are things from childhood that don’t just “stay in the past.”
They show up in your relationships, your body, your reactions… even when life looks okay on the outside.
If you’ve ever thought:
“Why do I still feel this way?”
“Why is this so hard for me?”
“Why do I react like this?”
This workshop is for you.

Join me for a 4-hour, experiential trauma + attachment workshop designed to help you begin understanding what’s underneath your patterns—and how to start shifting them.

Most people don’t realize this…

The way you cope today
might have saved you at one point.

But it might also be what’s keeping you stuck.
In NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), we call these patterns adaptive survival styles.

They’re not flaws.

They’re strategies your nervous system learned early on.

You might recognize yourself in one of these:
• You push people away → but secretly want connection
• You over-give → and feel invisible or resentful
• You stay numb → because feeling is overwhelming
• You rely only on yourself → and struggle to trust others
• You chase perfection → to feel worthy

These aren’t personality traits.

They’re adaptations to early environments.

And here’s the important part:
👉 You don’t heal them by thinking harder
👉 You don’t heal them by forcing change

You heal them through safe, relational experiences

This is why I use equine-assisted therapy.

Horses don’t respond to your story.

They respond to your nervous system.

Out at the barn, we can gently explore:
• how you relate
• where you disconnect
• what your body does in real time

No pressure. No pretending. No performing.
Just honest feedback and space to shift.

If you’ve done the work…
and something still feels “off” in your relationships, your body, or your sense of self—
this might be the missing piece.

Sobriety doesn’t fix everything.

Maybe you’re sober—but still feel stuck.

Maybe relationships keep bringing up the same patterns.

Maybe you understand your past, but your nervous system hasn’t caught up.

This is the kind of work I focus on—trauma, attachment wounds, and recovery.

I have a few openings:
🐴 Every other Friday at 10 AM (equine therapy at the barn)
🛋️ Fridays at 2 PM (in-office)
🛋️ Every other Wednesday at 4 PM (in-office)
This is a good fit for people who are ready to explore what’s underneath—not just manage symptoms.

DM me to schedule a session!
