Ya know those conversations that go like "I found a great deal on trees. We sound buy some!" But you don't ever get any real feedback from your partner and buy it anyway. Then, one day you get to say "let's go for a ride and pick up the trees I bought. "

So anyway, today we planted 25 elderberry and 2 pear trees 😂

Today we moved some (ok, a LOT) rocks where the blueberries used to be to get ready for the elderberry plants coming Friday. We found this, and decided to move it to a safe space to let it grow!

It was a LONG weekend! But we saved a LOT from our dead freezer. What was still frozen went to a different freezer.
(13) 1/2pts blueberry berry jelly
(1) qt mixed vegetables
(3) qt green beans
(7) qt ham, leek, potato soup starter
(1) pt ham stock
(1) pt carrots
(4) qt tomato sauce
(10) pt chicken
(4) qt + (1) 1.5 qt vegetable stock

Cooked 2 apple pies, baked 1 loaf of Zucchini bread, made about 3 cups total ham salad for lunches and have 2 portions of chicken for dinners.
