So there I was in Queenstown in a retreat with some amazing entrepreneurs.
We had a river between the mountains as a backdrop for what I hoped would be some amazing talks from the presenters.
But there was one thing that overshadowed the message they were trying to get across.
One after another dismissed, diminished, apologized for, and tried to rationalize away their psychic gifts.
The same gifts they were using everyday to make 6 figure incomes.
These abundant, successful people were living a lie and it hurt my psychic soul to watch.
They said things like:
It’s okay, it’s not to woo woo.
Don’t worry, it's backed by science.
Or launch into an explanation of why it works.
Or they use socially acceptable words like: Intuition, inspiration, gut feeling.
Instead of saying:
I am a magical person
I am psychic
I am a psychic healer.
I am done making myself palatable for the comfort of others.
The first time I walked into a party and introduced myself as a professional psychic was the first day of real freedom .
