These shorts fit last summer. Same diet. Same workouts. Different body. 👀

So I went looking for answers and found— and I can’t stop talking about it.

Here’s everything it does (because nobody told me this existed 🤔)

⚡️ METABOLISM
It activates AMPK — basically your body’s “burn mode” switch. It helps your cells use glucose and fat for energy more efficiently. This is huge in perimenopause when metabolism naturally slows.

💪 MUSCLE & BODY COMPOSITION
It supports muscle preservation and growth — critical when estrogen drops and we start losing muscle faster than ever.

🔥 INSULIN SENSITIVITY
Helps your body respond to insulin properly, which directly impacts belly fat storage and energy crashes. Perimenopausal women are more prone to insulin resistance & this works against that.

🧠 BRAIN & COGNITION
Supports mitochondrial function in the brain = less brain fog, better focus, sharper memory. (Yes, that’s a perimenopause symptom too.)

🦴 BONE DENSITY
Emerging research suggests it may support bone health — something every woman 35+ needs to be thinking about.

😴 ENERGY & FATIGUE
Because it works at the mitochondrial level (your cells’ power plants), women report more sustained energy throughout the day.

❤️ INFLAMMATION

These have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects — and chronic inflammation is at the root of so many perimenopausal symptoms.

It’s something your body actually produces naturally — but output declines with age. Adding it back in is what I’m exploring right now.

I was 33 when it started. Heart palpitations. Sleep that quit working. Anxiety, weight gain, A brain that felt like it was buffering 24/7.

So I did what we’re all told to do. I went to the doctor.

And I heard the sentence. “You’re too young for that.”

Here’s what that sentence actually costs you 👇

The years you spend thinking it’s just stress, just motherhood, just you not trying hard enough.

The money on the anxiety meds, the sleep aids, the “have you tried magnesium” rabbit holes — treating symptoms while the actual cause goes unnamed.

The version of yourself you slowly stop recognizing, and the part where you start to believe maybe you really are the problem.

That’s the bill. And women pay it every single day because perimenopause can start in your late 30s — sometimes earlier — and almost no one tells us that.

You are not too young. You are not dramatic. You are not crazy.

You were just never given the information.

So let’s actually find out what’s going on. Comment 6 and I’ll send you my hormone assessment — the one that helps you see what your body’s actually been trying to tell you. 🤍

The scale isn’t stuck because you’re lazy. It’s stuck because you’re inflamed. A nurse’s honest take on the thing no one’s measuring. 🔥

“Calories in, calories out” is the rule every woman is told to survive on. It falls apart the second you understand what chronic inflammation is doing behind the scenes — to your hormones, your metabolism, your gut, even your hunger signals. You can do everything “right” and still feel stuck. That’s not in your head.

Here’s what’s actually happening when your body’s inflamed: insulin and leptin resistance means your brain stops hearing “you’re full.” Cortisol spikes and parks fat around your middle. Your mitochondria slow, and your energy and metabolism go with them. Read that again — biology, not willpower. Big difference.

The answer isn’t another crash diet. It’s putting the fire out. Pull the common triggers first — sugar, dairy, gluten, whatever your body’s quietly reacting to. Then flood it with nutrient-dense food, heal the gut, protect your sleep, get cortisol back in line. Your body wants to release the weight. It just needs the fire out first.

If you’ve done everything right and still feel stuck, I want to actually help. There’s one tool I lean on to calm inflammation at the cellular level — and I’ll send you the full guide on how I use it. Comment HEAL and I’ll send you both. This was never about willpower. Let’s put the fire out. 💛

Read this twice. Then forgive yourself.

The exhaustion isn’t a personal failing. It’s the math finally catching up to an equation that never added up. You were handed an impossible list and told it was the bare minimum.

It was never the bare minimum. It was propaganda.

What’s the first thing you’re putting down? Tell me below. 💬

15 perimenopausal symptoms that get brushed off as “just stress” or “getting older.” 🙃

Itchy ears. Smelling phantom ci******es. Crawling skin at night. New chin hairs. Forgetting words mid-sentence. Waking up at 3am like clockwork.

Here’s what nobody tells you: these aren’t random. They’re your hormones shifting — and most doctors won’t connect the dots for you.

So I built a 2-minute hormone assessment that shows you what’s actually going on under the surface. No guessing, no gaslighting.

If more than 5 of these hit a little too close to home 👇

Comment 6 and I’ll send it straight to your DMs.
