W.W. Is 29 years old. He played Division III football for a school in Ohio. When he was 24 W.W. began experiencing uncontrollable weight gain even though he maintained a workout routine four times a week. Once he had put on nearly 30 pounds W.W. sought the advice of his General Practitioner. The doctor sent him for testing which revealed a PSA of 28. For those who don’t know a PSA of more than 10 is high. Further investigation identified Prostate Cancer. Cord of 3 Strands began assisting W.W. two months later. He was so distraught when we first came alongside him that it was difficult to gauge any progress in his journey. That was until Faith came into his life through God’s redeeming Grace. He has recently passed the 5-Year mark and is thriving. His company promoted him to a position of even more responsibility. He has even started working out again in 2023. At this juncture W.W. is living his best life with Cord of 3 Strands by his side.

E.L. was diagnosed with terminal cancer on April 26, 2020. His is Pancreatic. Unfortunately E.L.’s had metastasized to his liver and large intestine. Despite his doctor’s prognosis of 12 to 18 months E.L. is still here living life to the fullest. Cord of 3 Strands came alongside him the same week he found out about the cancer. We brought a message of Christ’s love for him. We have ministered to E.L. for nearly six years. During that time he was able to walk his daughter down the aisle at her wedding and also welcomed his first grandchild.

When time feels limited, moments matter more than ever.

We help families protect those moments by reducing stress, offering guidance, and standing beside them through difficult decisions.

Because dignity, connection, and love still matter — even in life’s hardest chapters.

Sometimes the greatest gift isn’t advice.

It’s presence.

Sitting with someone.
Listening.
Helping them feel seen and supported.

That’s what we strive to provide every single day.

If you value compassionate community care, please consider sharing this post to help us reach more families.

Caregivers are the quiet heroes.

They manage medications, appointments, meals, paperwork — all while holding their own grief and fear.

We see you.

Cord of 3 Strands supports caregivers just as much as patients, because when caregivers are supported, families are stronger.

Tag a caregiver who deserves encouragement today. 💛

We'd like to share a story about someone our ministry recently worked with.

Jack (not his real name) was suicidal after being diagnosed with colon cancer. He was told to get his affairs in order because he only had a year or two left in this world. Jack had lived his life as an extremely aggressive atheist. In his view Christians were ignorant and there was no God.

After two years of ministering Jack came to belief in God and accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior. It has now been five and a half years since the negative prognosis. During this season of his life Jack was able to walk his youngest daughter down the aisle and greet not one but two grandchildren. He and his wife have recently welcomed a Husky into their home. They are now doing their best to live their lives to the fullest with Jesus as the central figure in their marriage. This has served to recommit them in the love that God, through His Providential Care, brought them together 41 years ago.

Jack's story is one of the hundreds of success stories we have seen since our founding in 2015. Please consider providing a Gift to allow Cord of 3 Strands to continue extending the lives of people like Jack by visiting

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. To be part of a ministry of hope to people with cancer, please donate here.
