Last month, Virginia Commonwealth University Research and Innovation shared this video about the early science behind what we’re building at Tralyte Health. Reposting it today because the momentum since then has been phenomenal.
After a HypoPARAthyroidism Association, Inc. webinar featuring Tralyte's co-founders, we heard from patients, caregivers, families, and clinicians around the world — including one hypoparathyroidism patient writing from a hospital bed in Europe. Their messages are a constant reminder of why this work matters so much and how urgently better tools are needed.
People living with chronic calcium disorders deserve faster, easier access to their own data. Our long‑term vision is to bring key metabolic tests out of the lab and into the home. We’re starting with calcium because it’s the hardest science, the most urgent, and the most overlooked.
In the past month, we’ve presented at the Tom Tom Festival Innovation Summit and at Virginia Bio Thrive — two gatherings that bring together leaders across Virginia’s life sciences community. We’ve also begun early conversations with mission‑aligned investors who understand the scale of what’s possible with this new patient tool. — And more patients and their families have pledged support through our Wefunder campaign, a pathway designed specifically so they can be part of building this with us.
Engineering, clinical planning, and partnerships are all moving quickly. Grateful for the collaboration with VCU and the Hypoparathyroidism Association, for the support from Activation Capital and Innovation Partnership Corporation, and for the broader life sciences community that continues to push this work forward with enthusiasm.
