Here we go again… ❤️🩹
After almost 9 years in the clear, Josh’s tumor is back.
It’s in the same spot as before and thankfully, right now it’s only about the size of a quarter. Josh is doing well and feeling good, just dreading having to walk this road again.
After reviewing everything, the tumor board agreed that the best course of action is another surgery to remove the tumor, and they got him scheduled pretty quickly. His surgery will be September 15th in San Francisco.
We were really, really hoping this was something we would never have to go through again. After almost 9 years, you start to believe maybe that chapter is finally behind you. But here we are.
As hard as it is to be back in this place, we also know one thing for certain, God has us. He always has.❤️
He carried us through some of the darkest and hardest moments of our lives, even when we couldn’t understand what He was doing. He has never left our side, and we know He isn’t going to start now. We may not understand why we have to walk this road again, but we trust that He is already ahead of us, making a way.
So right now, we’re choosing faith over fear and taking it one step at a time.
We could really use all the prayers and love you can send our way. Please pray for Josh, for steady hands and wisdom for his surgeons and medical team, for a successful surgery and smooth recovery, and most of all, for good news when we get the pathology back. 🙏❤️
We’ve done this before, and with God beside us, we’ll do it again.
Also, if anyone has recommendations for places to stay in San Francisco during Josh’s surgery and hospital stay, please send them our way! We would really appreciate it.
Thank you for loving our family, praying with us, and continuing to stand beside us. It means more than you know. ❤️
God has us. He always has. And He always will.
