Captain Action

A sharp Murphy Anderson illustrated ad. Many fans love his Captain Action box artwork too.
If you try really hard , you can almost imagine this is a picture of Captain Action and Action Boy, relaxing after a long week of crime fighting.

And boy- we still miss Murphy Anderson. What a great guy he was!

This was posted years back. Supposedly the color commercial was bought by somebody in Portland, Oregon.

I was contacted by a seller who had 30 of the ideal toys original commercials! He got them from an ideal salesman representative. I didn’t know what I’d do with them so I just bought the salesman stands he still had. They were used to Display the ideal toy lines like Captain Action and the super queens! He even had the original box for the bigger stands! Here are the pictures from some of the CA commercials he had. These are the only pictures of the commercials he sent me. Enjoy them! 🙂
