๐Ÿ’™ Would you paint over mold? ๐Ÿงก

As we've been renovating our camper, we've discovered water damage, mold, mouse damage, leaks, and plenty of hidden surprises behind the walls.

We could have simply painted over the damage and made it look nice on the surface.
Instead, we chose to pull everything apart, find the source of the problem, and repair it correctly.

The human body is no different.

Symptoms are often the visible sign that something deeper is happening underneath. Fatigue, digestive issues, headaches, hormone imbalances, inflammation, skin issues, and poor sleep are often clues that the body needs support.

Just like our camper:
โœ”๏ธ We had to identify the leaks before repairing the walls.
โœ”๏ธ We had to remove the damaged materials before rebuilding.
โœ”๏ธ We had to address where the mice were getting in before expecting the problem to stay fixed.

Healing takes time.
Healing takes patience.
Healing takes a process.

The goal isn't to simply cover up symptoms. The goal is to understand why they are happening in the first place and help the body heal from the inside out.

If you're ready to stop painting over the problem and start looking for the root cause, schedule a free 15-minute Discovery Call through my website.

๐Ÿ’™ Little Learning Tonight! ๐Ÿงก

We're spending some time up north working on our camper renovation, and as I was pulling apart walls and fixing damage, I realized just how much it reminds me of the human body.

When something isn't working right, you have a choice:
Cover it up... or find out what's really causing the problem.๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Tonight I'll show you why mice, mold, leaks, and camper repairs have more in common with your health than you might think!

๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก Grow Wellness, NOT WEEDS๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™

I took you on a walk through my garden tonight, and while there were definitely some healthy plants growing, there were also plenty of weeds trying to take over.

As I looked at that garden, I couldn't help but think about what I often see in the clinic.

Many people's guts look a lot like that garden.

The healthy plants represent the beneficial bacteria and organisms that are supposed to be there helping us digest food, absorb nutrients, support our immune system, and keep us healthy.
The weeds represent the things that may be growing where they shouldn't be: bacteria overgrowth, yeast, fungus, parasites, food sensitivities, and other stressors that can create imbalance within the gut.

The problem isn't always that there are no healthy plants. Often, they're simply being crowded out by the weeds.

When that happens, the body starts sending signals:
๐ŸŒฑ Bloating
๐ŸŒฑ Gas
๐ŸŒฑ Food sensitivities
๐ŸŒฑ Constipation or diarrhea
๐ŸŒฑ Fatigue
๐ŸŒฑ Brain fog
๐ŸŒฑ Skin issues
๐ŸŒฑ Inflammation

My role is to help identify some of the underlying stressors contributing to those imbalances and then utilize whole-food nutritional support to help the body restore balance and create a healthier foundation.

A healthy garden requires ongoing care. Sometimes we need to pull weeds. Sometimes we need to nourish the soil. Most often, we need both.
If your gut garden feels like it's become overgrown, let's figure out what's going on.

๐Ÿ’™ Little Learning Recap: Even the Coaches Need Coaching

One of my biggest takeaways from this weekend's menopause conference was a simple reminder:

Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.
As practitioners, we teach healthy habits every day. But we're human too. We all have areas where we need support, accountability, and encouragement.

For me, that reminder came through mobility and stretching. If I want to stay active, strong, and able to enjoy future adventures with my family and someday my grandchildren, I need to invest in that future now.

Not someday.
Today.

The good news is that lasting change doesn't require perfection.
It starts with one small action.

One walk.
One stretch.
One healthier choice.
One new habit.

Small shifts repeated over time become powerful transformations.
What is one small thing you can do today that your future self will thank you for?

๐Ÿ’™ Tonight's Little Learning

Sometimes the hardest part of healing isn't knowing what to do...

It's actually doing it.

This past weekend, while speaking at at a menopause conference, I was reminded that even as a practitioner, I still have opportunities to grow, learn, and improve my own health habits.

Tonight I'll share a personal story about mobility, stretching, future grandma goals, and why one small step can make a bigger difference than you think.

Join me tonight at 7:30 on Facebook!
