We’ve been taught to see a sign and immediately ask:

“What does this mean?”

But meaning isn’t always something you can find in a Google search, a list of universal symbols, or someone else’s interpretation.

Especially when the sign is personal to YOU.

Meaning develops through relationship.

✨You notice what appeared.
✨What was happening in your life,
✨What you were thinking about,
✨What you felt in your body when it appeared.

And then you KEEP paying attention.

Because one occurrence might catch your eye.

Repetition reveals a pattern.

And over time, that pattern shows you what has been asking for your attention all along.

If you’re ready to explore what keeps returning in your life and how to respond to it, this is the work we do 1:1 inside Soul Integrity.

We’re quick to turn signs into something we need to decode.

🧐What does this mean?
🧐Is this a yes?
🧐Is this telling me what to do?

But I think we give signs a job they were never meant to have.

A sign doesn’t have to give you an answer.

Its first job is much simpler:

🚨to get your attention🚨

Because when something gets your attention once, it can be interesting.

When it keeps getting your attention, there’s repetition.

And repetition reveals pattern.

And when you stay with a pattern long enough, you have the opportunity to enter into relationship with it.

Not to blindly follow it.

Not to make it mean something before you understand it.

But to notice:

“There you are again.”

That’s where the real conversation begins.

Because your soul doesn’t need you to become better at decoding your life.

It needs you to become more available to the conversation.

Follow along if you want to stop decoding signs and start understanding what’s trying to get your attention 😉

As a poet and avid journaler, I collect quotes.

Our thoughts shape our reality. Our practices shape the reality we live most often.

Which is why there are words all over my house😂

✨Mantras in the shower.
✨Promises on the wall.
✨Questions on the mirror.
✨Quotes by my bed.

Because knowing what matters to you is one thing.

Recognizing the patterns that pull you away from it is another.

And building practices that help you return to what you know? That’s where things begin to change.

You don’t need to cover your entire house in sticky notes…just start with one.

Choose one question, mantra, or reminder that brings you back to what you know.

Put it somewhere you already look every day.

Then practice returning to it.

→ What are you putting up? Let’s give each other ideas 👇🏽 I’ll drop a few of mine in the comments xx

The mind will move.

The practice is learning not to organize your life around every wave. 🌊

When the noise gets loud around what keeps returning, can you witness what is moving within you without mistaking it for an instruction?

For further reading:

Patañjali’s Yoga Sutras 1.2–1.4 — particularly 1.3 and 1.4

You are not the wave.
You are the ocean that sees it.

We’re going to take this conversation out of the realm of understanding and into practice very soon.

Save this one. We’ll be coming back to it 😉

You don’t need certainty to move.

You need the capacity to stay in relationship with what you know while uncertainty is still present.

3 things we get wrong about certainty:

1️⃣ We think if we analyze something long enough, we’ll eventually become certain.

2️⃣ We think certainty is what allows us to move, when what we’re often seeking is safety.

3️⃣ We confuse certainty—knowing what will happen—with certitude: knowing what matters enough to organize ourselves around it.

This is the work we do inside Soul Integrity: building the capacity to hear what matters, stay with what arises, and organize your life around what you know.

Kid bike energy only this week. 🚲

Less “but how is it going to happen?”

More organizing my attention around what I know, what I desire, and what I’m willing to keep showing up for.

Sometimes staying in relationship with your dharma looks a lot like noticing when you’ve drifted into doubt — and choosing to return.

Follow along with me as I walk the path of Soul Integrity…one Dharma Diary at a time 🤎

08/24/2026

Dharma is often translated as your purpose, your path, your sacred duty.

But I’ve come to understand it as something more alive than that.

✨Dharma is the living expression of your soul ✨

And knowing what’s alive within you isn’t the same as knowing how to live from it.

You can know you’re adventurous and still choose what feels safe.

You can know you value freedom and still organize your life around certainty.

You can know you’re creative and never make the thing.

Because expressing what’s true asks for more than recognition.

It asks for relationship.

♾️The capacity to hear what’s alive in you.
♾️To notice what pulls you away from it.
♾️To make choices from it.
♾️To return when you drift.

Again and again.

So the question here isn’t:

What is my Dharma?

It’s:

What would it look like to be in relationship with it?

That’s the ground we practice on around here.

If you’re less interested in finding your purpose and more interested in learning how to live it, you’re in the right place.

Stick around.
Hit that follow button.
We’ve got Dharma to get into ✌🏽

I’ve collected quotes for as long as I can remember.

Scribbled onto notecards.
Taped to my walls.
Underlined in books.
Stacked inside my journals.

So, here’s a little peek into my collection lately 🤎

The loudest voice isn’t always the truest.

Sometimes the closer we get to something that matters, the louder the mind becomes.

Fear.
Doubt.
Urgency.
Negotiation.
The need to know what it means and what we’re supposed to do about it.

The practice isn’t to make all of that disappear.

It’s learning to create enough space around the fluctuations of the mind that we don’t mistake every thought, feeling, or fear for instruction.

Fear doesn’t automatically mean no.

Excitement doesn’t automatically mean yes.

And something returning doesn’t automatically mean act.

Before the decision, there can be practice.
Before the next step, there can be conversation.
