Finally, a win! Though, horrifying that this law is needed. Digital safety is just as important as all the other safety things you hear pediatricians talk about and it should be part of regular conversations with our children.
-Set the norm that you always ask for permission to share photos, even if it’s a simple family photo.
-Remember that the more photos we share of our children over time, the easier it is for AI to make deep fakes.

Thank you for bringing attention to this issue! There is no reason for these products to be packaged like candy and for anything ma*****na to look like gummy bears. It’s hurting kids, on the regular, and it needs to stop.

Micromanagement of food intake leads to trouble. Plus, what one person needs for a healthy diet is different than another person’s needs Our intake should meet our activity and energy needs while including a large variety of items trended over many days to a week.

was a leading cause of admission for children during my residency. It’s not a disease we can cure, only support children through it with IV fluids to treat the severe dehydration. Then came the vaccine and within a year, my community had eliminated the disease. It was awesome! Now, cases are starting to surge throughout the country as vaccination rates drop. I liked it better when it was gone, though clearly not forgotten by me 😬.

Happy ! Remember, grown-ups need vaccines too! Just had my second vaccine and I’ll keep you posted with regard to any symptoms I develop as my body builds protection.
