🎨 Art has a powerful way of bringing people together—and the opening of ROOTED: The Journey of a Living Faith at CARE Gallery was a beautiful example of just that. 💙

We’re incredibly grateful to Lorraine Simonds Watercolour and Shantell Miller for sharing their artwork, their stories, and the inspiration behind their creative journeys with our community. ✨

It was inspiring to see so many people come together to experience the exhibition, engage with the artists, and connect with one another. These moments remind us how art can create meaningful conversations, strengthen relationships, and build community. 🤝

The CARE Gallery, a visual arts initiative of the CARE Center of New Jersey, invites you to experience ROOTED: The Journey of a Living Faith, an exhibition featuring the powerful works of Lorraine Simonds Watercolour and Shantel Miller. 💙

Join us for the Opening Reception & Artist Talk for ROOTED: The Journey of a Living Faith—an afternoon where art, faith, family, and creativity come together.

✨ A special highlight: Experience a LIVE watercolor portrait demonstration by award winning watercolor artist Lorraine Simonds! Watch her creative process unfold—from the first brushstroke to a developing portrait—with the demonstration projected on screen so everyone can see the artistry up close.
