Back to Basics: slow cooker meals
Home cooking is generally healthier for you and almost always more economical. While I’m sure most of us cooked at home more this past year than we wanted too, remembering that yummy healthy meals don’t have to be complicated or time consuming is helpful to keep you on track with your lifestyle goals.
This photo shows a slow cooker pot roast (grass fed/finished meat from a local farmer) with rainbow carrots 🥕 and fingerling potatoes (veggies also locally grown). Add some spices to flavor the meat and bone broth or water. Cook on high for 6-8 hours and a wonderful dinner awaits you at the end of the day. Quick to prepare. Smells amazing while cooking. Full of nourishing goodness.
