Nikolas Ritschel Foundation Nik discovered that Make-A-Wish ages out at 18. Nik found a gap in support, we aim to fill it

Inspired by Nik in 2012, our 501(c)(3) charity provides precious moments of joy - "Nik Wishes" - for young adults ages 18-24 and their families fighting cancer. Inspired by Nikolas Ritschel’s journey with synovial sarcoma, our mission is to provide opportunities to enrich the lives, stimulate encouragement, and strengthen the faith of adolescent & young adult cancer patients and their loved ones.

Nik’s journey taught us much about the power of Faith, Fun, Integrity, and Sharing. From him we witnessed the incredible impact one person can make – you just need to “Take One Step”. We strive to share those happy experiences with others who are similarly situated.

Every diagnosis carries a story. Every treatment takes courage. And every act of support can make a difference.

Today and every day, let’s raise awareness, support research, and remind those facing leukemia that they are never alone. 🎗️

"As someone who likes to take up new hobbies whenever I can, I’m so grateful to Nik’s wish and everyone involved in making my wish come true. With my new MacBook, I’ll be able to start yet another hobby, animation, but also further my writing as I hope to be an author someday. 🌺Aloha! Alyssa wished to visit the Big Island of Hawaii and we delivered!

"I just wanted to thank you and the rest of Niks wish. This was a once in a lifetime kind of trip and we all had the most amazing time!

We swam with the manta rays, went zip lining, had lots of beach time, and drove the road to Hana to Haleakalā national park and went on a gorgeous hike! I’m so grateful for this experience. Thanks again!"

Mia's Wish from an unforgettable concert to exploring sunny San Diego, this Wish DELIVERED was one to remember!🎶🌅

"Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to go to San Diego and see Noah Kahan in concert. San Diego was beautiful, the food was amazing and the concert was freaking awesome.

I never dreamed I would get a chance to see him in person and I have never seen a stadium that big or so many people in one place!

I have 5 chemo treatments left and this gave me a little break before getting back at it. I appreciate all you do and will never forget you. Thank you ❤️"
