This Friday, June 19, RCAD hosts the 2nd Annual EcoSummit, celebrating the people, projects, and natural resources that help make Rockport-Fulton and Aransas County the Ecosystem Capital of the Texas Gulf Coast.
Near the Cultural Interface sculpture at Beach Park, native coastal grasses and plants have been restored to help preserve a landscape that reflects the natural heritage of our coast and supports local wildlife.
π£ββοΈ Unfortunately...
Penelope interpreted "EcoSummit" as an invitation to become a kayaking expert.
Witnesses report she: β’ Turned the kayak upside down
β’ Attached the life vest to the paddle
β’ Declared herself "ready to launch"
Fortunately, Aransas Pathways Kayaking Chair Jim Farnsworth happened to be nearby preparing for EcoSummit's Sunset Kayak Experience.
Fortunately, Jim was being Jim.
