Just some conversation about plants and natural living on a beautiful Saturday morning (I hope).

It's scheduled! I'll be at the stone picnic table by the baseball fields at the park by Augusta Lake on June 20th at 9:30 am(see the picture above). I scheduled it early so we can beat the heat.

Bring a field guide if you have one, a notebook for notes, questions and your own experiences to share and something cool to drink.

I'm thinking of having a get together out at the Augusta Lake.

Just to talk about plants and maybe share how we can be more natural in our everyday lives.

I'm curious if there's any interest in something like this? If so, I'll set a date.

I'd really love to hear your thoughts and ideas about something like this.

I found some beautiful examples of Plantain yesterday at the Augusta Lake. Plantain is great for bug bites, it's moistening for all the linings inside your body and the stalks are great for your joints. Search Plantain over at the Herbal Blog and learn more. There are 2 different kinds below, Plantago major and Plantago lanceolata. Can you guess which is which?

We found a mess of Elder trees growing wild on our fence line yesterday. I was so excited. The flowers are already blooming. They're just beautiful, aren't they?
