Can soft plaque be reversed?
In many people, yes—but it doesn't happen with one supplement or one medication.
Soft plaque develops when cholesterol enters a damaged artery wall. The goal is to address everything driving that process, including:
✔️ Lowering ApoB (the cholesterol particles that enter the artery wall)
✔️ Improving endothelial (blood vessel) health
✔️ Reducing oxidative stress (damage to blood vessels and cholesterol)
✔️ Improving insulin resistance and metabolic health
✔️ Controlling blood pressure
✔️ Reducing chronic inflammation
✔️ Exercising regularly
✔️ Prioritizing sleep, nutrition, and avoiding smoking
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to preventing heart disease. Identifying and treating each person's unique risk factors is key.
The earlier we identify heart disease, the greater our opportunity to stabilize plaque, slow its progression, and in some people, even reduce it.
