EPIC weekend at Henley Masters Regatta! Thank you Jon, Irene, Gary, Tim, Tanya and the entire HMR Committee and crew. Thank you Leander Club for a very fun kick off reception and tour. Thank you to British Rowing for sharing our story.

Thank you WeCanRow DC Recovery on Water We Can Row Philadelphia Whitemarsh Boat Club and HERon Thames, for making it a weekend we will remember forever.

And huge thanks to our organizer Fiona Betts from HERon Thames- who went above and beyond in every way. In her words :

Being seen as athletes and not just cancer recoverers is so important to the community as they recover and need to find new identities...as well as the fact that exercise can reduce risk of recurrence by up to a third!

For those not directly affected by cancer it was a chance to support the cancer community, but also to see that living with cancer can enable new opportunities and positive attitude, and a reminder to keep an eye on personal health!!

The atmosphere was so welcoming and the commentary amazing, lovely to have the pink numbers (a great detail) and for everyone to feel part of such an amazing regatta.

PInk numbers for Survivor Row at Henley Masters Regatta! Can't wait

One of the most exciting events before the start of Henley Masters Regatta is the arrival of the numbers! It makes it feel so very real, with it just 2 more days away!

We have three number colours this year! The special ones are pink ribbon coloured for the participants in the Survivor Rowing Network Exhibition Event and gold for our 80+ competitors. If you see anyone wearing one these special colours, congratulate them!

Please come to the Registration Tent in the main field before your first race to collect your numbers. Registration opens approximately 1 hour before the first race. There is no set time to register and if there is a queue and your race is not for a few hours, please do come back a bit later.

Please remember to keep your numbers for the full three days of the competition. You will not receive new numbers every day. Make sure your numbers are displayed clearly and nothing covers them.
