Caring for a loved one with dementia can feel overwhelming at times — and no caregiver should have to carry that weight alone.

Our Dementia Caregiver Support Group meets tomorrow at 2:30 PM at Holy Trinity in Nevada City. This is a welcoming space to connect with others who truly understand the challenges, emotions, and daily realities of caregiving.

Support groups can help reduce caregiver burnout by providing:
• Emotional support and encouragement
• Practical caregiving tips and resources
• A sense of connection and community
• A reminder that your well-being matters too

Whether you’re feeling exhausted, isolated, or simply in need of understanding, you are welcome here.

We hope to see you tomorrow đź’ś

Hello friends,

This is a friendly reminder that our next dementia support group meeting will take place tomorrow at 10:30 AM at Cascades of Grass Valley.

If you are the primary caregiver for someone living with dementia, attending a support group can make a meaningful difference. These gatherings offer a space to connect with others who understand the challenges you’re facing, share practical advice, and gain emotional support. Many caregivers find that participating helps reduce feelings of isolation, provides new coping strategies, and strengthens resilience in day-to-day caregiving.

In addition to the support and conversation, all attendees are warmly invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by Cascades of Grass Valley following the meeting.

We hope to see you there and encourage you to join us for both the discussion and the opportunity to connect over a meal.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to send a gentle reminder that we’ll be gathering tomorrow at Holy Trinity in Nevada City at 2:30 PM. I’m really looking forward to being together again.

These meetings are a space where you can simply show up as you are—whether you feel like sharing, listening, or just sitting among people who understand. Many find that being part of the group brings a sense of connection, reassurance, and a reminder that you’re not alone in this journey. There’s something meaningful about being in a room with others who truly “get it.”

I also want to share that our next meeting after tomorrow will be on Wednesday, April 22nd at Cascades of Grass Valley at 10:30 AM.

I hope you’re able to join us. You are always welcome, and your presence matters.
