Our mission is to empower and support African-American women with tools and resources they need to create and implement a plan of action that enhances their quality of life into their senior years. Aging is a journey of growing in wisdom, knowledge, experience, and self-confidence. Naomi Whitehead, the oldest living person in the United States, celebrated her 116th birthday on September 26, 2026. Born in Patterson, Georgia, in 1910, Whitehead grew up working on a farm before marrying and raising three sons. She became the nation’s oldest living person in October 2024. Now living in Greenville, Pennsylvania, Whitehead also received birthday honors from her Georgia hometown ahead of her remarkable milestone celebration.
