Correctional nursing balances care, safety, and accountability.

Ethical practice requires delivering evidence-based care while maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to policy and legal standards. Nurses advocate for appropriate care without compromising safety or security—an essential role in maintaining integrity within correctional systems.
