Three more Flamingo 5k sponsors committed yesterday.
Thank you to the Philippine Nurses Association, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Cane’s.

We attended the Eagles dinner & dance fundraiser last night with Tahoe Park Neighborhood Association President and her beautiful family and they surprised us with a check for $500.

10 years ago, John was training for the Special Olympics. Over the last decade he has run the Boston marathon (twice), New York marathon, Chicago marathon, Honolulu marathon, and several throughout California.
And then in 2022, he got into ultra running and ran the Rio Del Lago 100 miler to qualify for the race of a lifetime, the Western States 100 Mile (Tahoe to Auburn). He completed it in 27 hours, three hours under the 30 hour time limit.

Tony was there at day one and is still here today, sharing John story, 10 years later.

Families, thank you for building this with us. John runs to bring awareness to what we do here in Sacramento AND what he CAN do as a nonverbal athlete but everyone needs a strong network to maintain momentum and you are that for us.
Thank you all for 10 years.
