Here are some details that are coming out from the Bend, OR shooting. Another horrific tragedy.

It appears that through training- or good mindfulness and situational awareness- the shooter was neutralized before a bad situation got worse.

Please take a moment and read this.

I don't often recruit for the competition ;) but we all serve different aspects of the fi***rms community. And i firmly believe that teamwork is what makes us all successful!

Free women's range timeis a huge asset, worth looking into! If you've taken classes with me, you've heard my position on finding the right handgun for you. If you've forgotten, I'll refresh you!

Why are you caring?
Where on your person are you carrying?
What size pistol are you carrying?

Now, go check these folks out, pick up every pistol of your size that they have, and find the right fit for you!

This just in!

Yesterday I worked with several agents from a local real estate agent association, and this was their feedback!

If you or someone you know, is a real estate agent and would like to get continuing education, just shoot me a message, and I would love to work with you! I am a minnesota department of commerce certified producer with a two hour class on real estate agent safety and self defense.

It is not a martial arts class, and there is no hands on and no, it is not a fi***rm safety class. Over the course of 2 hours, we will talk about situational awareness, de-escalation and non-lethal self-defense options that could keep you safe and focused on the main objective of closing your sale and getting home safely at the end of the day!

We are in the final stage of preparing for the monthly get togethers as part of our fledgling ITF Community.

The current model will be a monthly meet and greet with an hour of free training, followed by 2 hours of paid training for those people who are interested.

There will be 4 modules, repeating each quarter. We have a couple of guest speakers lined up, but our training topics will be presented on the ITF Community page, so go follow that page now, so you'll be ready to check out what's to come!!

I was fortunate this morning in being able to give another training session on Real Estate Agent Safety. To the agents in attendance, I hope each of you found some good take aways to add to your safety plan- and encourage others to join in our next session!

Thanks to Lake Superior Area REALTORS for hosting this event again, and I look forward to becoming an affiliate, and working your team on a more regular basis!
