You’ve done an impeccable job at being strong.

What if now, you get to be soft?

A melting so intoxicating you forget that you hold your shoulders as soldiers against your world(ly) enemy? A softness so inviting, you allow your jaw to stand down and the tiny muscles behind your eyes to lay down their arms.

What if all that is needed of you now, is simply, to breathe? That beautiful thread of life you don’t have to ask, remind or force your body to weave into your lungs?

What if you get to receive without immediately giving, fixing or managing? Could you let the quiet wave of relief wash over you? The subtle settling that says you don’t have to BE anything. The masks can stay in their boxes. The costumes on their shelves. It’s a soft landing that affirms, YOU have always been more than enough.

And what if everything really IS always working out for you? Can you allow a Hawk eye perspective? Yes, life has had its challenges. It’s pain. Its loss and its grief. But has it not also had its beauty? It’s moments of joy? Sometimes, the mountains seemed impassable.

And yet, here you are, reading these words. Having overcome every challenge you have ever faced, you’ve done it with the determination of someone who deep down, wants themselves to succeed. Wants happiness, peace, love, joy and freedom.
