Hello everyone!

We wanted to give you an update from . Our team visited the young lady with undiagnosed and untreated diabetes we met last February during our medical assessment mission trip.

When we met her,her blood sugar was 554 mg/dL or 30 mmol/L. We are pleased that with follow ups and education her blood sugar as of today is 180 mg/dL or 10mmol/L. She still needs continued financial support for transportation, food, and medications to encourage her to take care of herself.

She currently needs to visit the doctor twice monthly with her mother to keep up with her regimen.

Current cost of monthly insulin: 60 cedis or $5.50
Monthly transportation to the clinic :110 cedis or $20

Thank you for following her story and supporting our team.

If you are touched by her story, send us a private message on how you can donate financially or in kind!

Thank you
