LET. THE. BABIES. GET. DIRTY. ššæ
My toddler rarely gets sick and I have absolutely zero interest in raising him inside a sterile little bubble.
Bare feet.
Mud.
Trees.
Bugs.
Dirt under his fingernails.
Normal childhood exposure to the world around him.
Our bodies live alongside enormous communities of microorganisms, and the gut microbiome and immune system are constantly interacting with our environment.
That doesn't mean hygiene doesn't matter.
It means dirt isn't automatically the enemy.
So instead of obsessing over eliminating every germ he could possibly encounter, I obsess over building a strong foundation:
His food.ļæ½His sleep.ļæ½His gut.ļæ½His movement.ļæ½His time outside.ļæ½And the intentional rituals we've been consistent with for years.
Including the fermented herbal honey I originally formulated for HIM. šÆšæ
Because my approach has never been about panicking once sickness arrives.
It's about supporting the body every damn day.
And yesāhe's probably coming home filthy. š
