I have learned to read scripture to believe it, not necessarily to understand it. When I take that approach to the truths of His comfort and love, I am immediately in a place of refuge. The only place of refuge that ever really counts.

Can you believe today that this word is true? That this truth is for YOU, and not just those who have experienced the light shining through the darkness? Some seasons of grief, worry, troubles are long. But the God of the universe WILL rescue you out of it. If we believe it, how quickly we will cry out.

The Lord is near. If we believe that, we can lay down the need to understand the reasons we are here. He hears! And He is on His way to rescue your crushed spirit.

*Eager Expectation*
- I am looking forward to Jesus coming back.
*Holy Living*
- I try to live a pure and obedient life. I want to be ready and pleasing to Him WHEN he arrives.
*Detachment from the world*
- I care more about eternal things in heaven than temporary things on Earth.
*Comfort in Hard Times*
- Kowing Jesus will return gives me peace and hope when life is difficult.

In a world that sometimes seems to be completely against the cause of every believer, may we always remember not just the command to praise the name of our God; but the reasons He is worthy to be praised.

I know it's tough out here. I feel it too. As do many of my brothers and sisters of the faith. But we know a name that is above every other name and He is the strength of our song and worship. As we feel weariness in the walk begin to set in, remember - It is written....🙌

If the "wisdom" that you are giving out or receiving from others doesn't first duplicate these things- pause, pray, go back and search the proverbs before you proceed with the giving or receiving of what you believe to be wise.
