SarahCare at Encino Park

SarahCare at Encino Park Providing a safe and fun environment for adults with physical and/or cognitive decline as well as those wanting to build friendships.

SararhCare is a leader in the industry of adult day health services. As personal caregivers to our veteran family members, we chose to bring SarahCare to San Antonio, Texas to help other caregivers in our situation. We are opening this franchise to assist those in our community with the difficult decisions they make daily about loved ones that may be afflicted with Alzheimer's, dementia or Parkins

ons, etc or just may not be able to be left alone. We are here to care for clients, provide warm meals, to interact with them socially, engage in activities and bring comfort to the caregivers during the day.

22 PARTICIPANTS IN ONE DAY!!

Today was a BIG day at SarahCare at Encino Park—we welcomed 22 participants, our highest attendance in a single day so far! We are SO excited to see our SarahCare family growing and to have our center filled with more laughter, conversations, activities, friendships, and smiling faces.

When we opened our doors just a few months ago, this is exactly what we hoped for—a lively, welcoming place where seniors can come together, stay active, make friends, and simply enjoy their day. Seeing 22 people enjoying SarahCare at Encino Park together was definitely a moment worth celebrating!

Thank you to our wonderful families for trusting us with your loved ones and for sharing SarahCare at Encino Park with others. 22 today…and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

What an honor for SarahCare at Encino Park!

On Tuesday, August 13, we had the pleasure of attending the Bulverde Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce Best of Bulverde Spring Branch event at Knibbe Ranch, and we were incredibly excited to be recognized as one of the TOP THREE in Senior Care!

While we didn’t take home first place, we definitely walked away feeling like winners. SarahCare at Encino Park has only been open for a few months, so to already be recognized alongside two well-established organizations—Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center and The Heights of Bulverde Skilled Nursing and Rehab—was truly an honor.

Most importantly, THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to vote for us! Your votes, referrals, encouraging words, and continued support mean more than you know. We are a new business, but our mission has been clear from day one: create a place where seniors feel welcomed, valued, engaged, and part of a community.

We are proud of how far we have come in such a short time, and we are just getting started! Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees and winners, and thank you to the Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber of Commerce for celebrating the wonderful businesses and organizations in our community.

Promising!

A South Florida man living with Alzheimer's is finding hope through a new treatment that helped remove the amyloid plaques linked to the disease. Scott Milinsky, 79, was one of the first patients in Florida to receive Eli Lilly's Kisunla at Broward Health North, where doctors say the medication is designed to slow the progression of early symptomatic Alzheimer's.

After 18 infusions over a year and a half, Milinsky's final PET scan showed the amyloid plaques were gone. While doctors say Kisunla is not a cure, they call it a significant step forward in slowing cognitive decline. Broward Health North is now providing the treatment to more than 60 patients.

Choosing a home care agency can feel overwhelming. There are so many options available, and it can be difficult to know which one is the right fit for your loved one. 💙 That's why SarahCare at Encino Park enjoys connecting families with trusted community resources and giving you the opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed, no-pressure setting.

We're excited to welcome Lisa Clark from Adept Home Health, Inc. to SarahCare at Encino Park on Thursday, August 6, from 8:30–9:30 AM. Lisa will be here to share information about the services Adept Home Health provides, including private duty caregiving, Community Based Alternatives (CBA), and other in-home support services. This is an informal visit designed to help families learn about available resources and determine whether Adept may be a good fit for their needs.

You do not need to be registered at SarahCare to attend. If you or someone you know could benefit from learning more about in-home care options, we invite you to stop by, enjoy a cup of coffee, and visit with Lisa. We look forward to seeing you! ☕🏡😊

Our Hearts are Full with Gratitude and Happiness!
What a wonderful afternoon we had at SarahCare at Encino Park with our friend and visiting artist, Juliea Shriver! Our participants had so much fun learning new painting techniques while creating beautiful cloud masterpieces. It was amazing to watch everyone's creativity shine as each painting became as unique as the artist behind it.

A huge thank you to Juliea for sharing her time, talent, and passion with us. Experiences like these bring smiles, spark conversation, and remind us that it's never too late to discover a new hobby or express yourself through art. We can't wait to welcome her back for another inspiring visit!
