What if I want to become a living donor but not a match? University Transplant Institute has a Kidney Paired Donation program that gives the donor a chance to save the recipient’s life by swapping kidneys with another pair. Living donor kidneys are exchanged so each recipient receives a compatible transplant. In the case where more that one pair can be made, a kidney donor chain is created.

The possibilities are endless when you become a living donor. Take the first step by completing the online history questionnaire at UTCLivingDonor.com.

It’s been 1 year and 9 months since Adrian started dialysis. Dialysis is a treatment option that helps filter waste, salt and fluid from his blood. He is required to be on a machine 4 times a week, time he could be spending with his son. Each day that goes by, is one more day of uncertainty for his future.
