Not only do our residents stay long term but so do our caregivers………If you’ve ever been to Rosemarys Cottage in the last 2 years you’ve more than likely met Alyssa! We emphasize often how caregiver continuity is so important in the daily lives of our residents. It promotes trust, safety, consistency and improves overall health and wellbeing. Alyssa is the epitome of all of those. She shows up everyday with a smile on her face and ready to take on any needs our ladies have. She’s learned them to the T and she knows when something isn’t right, which is fundamental in staying on top of and preventing anything that may be adversely going on. She’s our right hand woman when we aren’t available or may be busy and for this we could never thank her enough. Thank you for the 2 years of service you’ve given our residents over the years and us. Happy Nurses Week to the incredible nurses who give so much of themselves every single day. As a nurse and someone who runs a private care home, I see firsthand the compassion, patience, strength, and dedication this profession requires. Nursing is more than a career it’s a calling rooted in love, sacrifice, and service to others. To every nurse working long hours, comforting families, advocating for patients, and providing care even on the hardest days thank you. Your kindness changes lives in ways that often go unseen, but never unappreciated. This week, I celebrate not only the work we do, but the hearts behind the scrubs. I am honored to stand beside so many amazing nurses who continue to make a difference every day.

Almost three years ago, we embarked on this venture after visiting various nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and personal care homes around San Antonio throughout our nursing careers. With a deep commitment to providing seniors with dignified care, we took the bold step of creating this home. Throughout the past three years, we have successfully cared for numerous families loved ones and strive to maintain this level of care for years to come.
