Today is the day.

Hi friends, we are back in Omaha for Seline as she needs to have surgery to fix her Central line and relocate her Gtube so I humbly ask you to Please keep our sweet Seline in your prayers this morning as she undergoes surgery. 🙏🏽💕
At just 2 years old, our brave girl is facing her 10th surgery. Seline has been through more than most, yet she continues to show strength beyond her years. She is under the care of an incredible specialist team as she continues her journey with Short Bowel Syndrome after losing 90% of her small intestine as a preemie.
She relies 100% on TPN through her Broviac line and G-tube feedings.

Dear God, We ask for prayers for Peace and comfort for Seline, Wisdom and steady hands for her surgical team and A successful surgery and smooth recovery. Lord, we place Seline in Your hands. Cover her with Your protection, guide every step of this procedure, and surround her with Your healing presence. Amen. 💗

Our dear friend Jayden, that we met in Omaha when we first arrived from Texas in 2024, sent Seline a box of extra TPN tubing from her personal stash when she saw that she desperately needed it. Overnighted from NC to Texas. We are so grateful for her kindness and generosity 🥹🫶🏼 Pictures of when we always managed to bump into each other at the Ronald McDonald house in Omaha! ❤️

URGENT:
Anyone happen to have an extra curlin tubing set with filter? My daughter has short bowel syndrome and is on TPN for 12 hours. Our DME is completely imcompetent and didn’t send more in our weekly order and we just opened the box and realized it’s not in there. We are completely out. She is primarily dependent on the lipids and calories from TPN. She does not eat orally. We are located in Cibolo

UPDATE! 🩷
We were able to find a few to hold us by with friends sending us more! We are so grateful and appreciative for all the help and resources! Unfortunately we cannot just go to the hospital and get supplies and with is being the weekend when this happened all the local medical supplies were closed. Our DME is states away on MN so they are no help to courier supplies to us.

Omaha Day 2/ Seline’s 4th Clinic at UNMC for Short Bowel Syndrome🩷 We visited the Children’s Museum in Omaha and had a blast! The twins definitely loved being able to do so much in the play areas, and all the space to run around, they wore themselves out and took a long nap when we got back. In the evening we got to see our favorite person at the Ronald Mcdonald House Omaha, Ms. Shelly! We absolutely love her and the kids missed her so much. Sophia had been asking to bake cookies with Ms. Shelly so we spent the end of our day baking chocolate cookies 🍪
