This guy came yesterday to the store looking for me...and I wasnt there.
He was walking back and forth at my front door I was watching him... and his buddies record my place of business... Finally i spoke to him though the camera and he said he was doing a documentary and wanted to interview me. I said I dont do interviews. He said it could help other Santa Muerte followers. I said I dont do interviews. He said im only in town for a couple of days. I said I dont do interviews. He then said may I ask why...I said I dont do interviews... he finally took the hint and ended up leaving.
Let's rewind back a couple of years ago to me sitting in my living room full of excitement getting my inventory all set up for the store and guess who I see on YouTube interviewing the girls at Papa Jims.??? This guy!!! (We love PapaJims Botanica)
Once again...I knew what i signed up for. I knew it from the very beginning. Alot of people come to the store and ask me why is the door locked??? CAUSE OF THIS REASON!!!! As cocky as it may seem...its my store i choose to let you in if i want too... Pop quiz...tell me what your purpose is here and then well see if i let you in.
He is not the first Christian preacher or evangelist...whatever they are, to come to the store. And im sure he isnt the last.
But.....I want you to know. Here are Mystica Rosa Botanica we believe in interfaith. Why we believe in that is because my husband and I have chosen to connect with other sources for spiritual enlightenment for our life. We have been to Temples, Synagogue, Churches, Mosques. If you ask us you can learn something from each one. Each one is diversity different, but all share the same core values.
That Value is love and dignity to the human race.
When I created the store I wanted something where people from all faiths could come and share life experiences with others without the usual conversion to a certain religion to reach the Heavens. Your free to choose whatever path you want.
If you think your God is better, than my God. Your going to hell, you worship the devil. I dont know what to tell you.. Your thoughts are your own..I can't change that. Just know that it is NOT acceptable or tolerated at all at my store. Im telling you that right now....
You cant come into MY store and disrespect me, my Gods, or my customers. Thats not gonna happen. You came to the wrong store.
We dont have love and light when it comes to you bringing hate into my realm. Because lets be honest, that is what you are bringing to the table when you came to my store. You dont see me going to church and trying to bring people here to convert them into what I believe. Im just existing in my store minding my own business and YOU chose to come here and bother me. Remember Jesus doesn't like ugly and when you preach the gospel to others you make it one sided. Your side. And the so called love you bring is now a message of hate and shame. Do better, let everyone figure it out on their own. They dont need you to tell them what to do. Because the same God that talks to you, is the same God that also talks to them.
But here is my school of thought on things i believe in if you want to know so bad.....

The Bible is missing Gospels.
The last Holy Book giving to us by the creator of the Universe is the Holy Quran.
Mother Mary is the Queen of Heaven, Santa Muerte is the Queen of the Underworld. We need balance in life. Allah is Arabic for God, not a separate deity. You are responsible for your own actions. "Sin" is an escape for someone who wants to put the blame on the devil, but not take full accountability for themselves....shall I go on????
